HONEYMOON INN UDAIPUR - INDIA HOLIDAY PACKAGES

Honeymoon trip to Udaipur

Udaipur, the lake city, is the most romantic place to visit in Rajasthan. The Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar, Udai Sagar and Swaroop Sagar are some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Jag Mandir an island in the lake Pichola, is known for its beautiful garden courtyard. Sajjangarh Fort situted atop the hill overlooks all the surrounding lakes in Udaipur. Shilpgram, is a must see village for the couples who are interested to see the culture heritage of India.

Hymns of Mira Bai's devotion to Lord Krishna and exploits of warrior's like Rana Sanga welcome you on your honeymoon trip in Udaipur which is a land filled in love and culture, and a place that is called, the Venice of East. Go through the best ever experiences of your life with your loved once feeling like Udaipur, the Splendid city of Rajasthan with the many beautiful and magnificent palaces of Rajasthan royal families. It has a lot in treasure to offer you that the entire world and as you get lost in a labyrinth of marble made palaces, colorful wall paintings, shining lakes and mesmerizing love ballads. In your honeymoon tour to Udaipur must watch places are the Saheliyon ki Bari(the girls rendezvous), City Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple and Moti Magri.

To make it an unforgettable experience with your loved one you can go for luxury houseboat rides on the sparkling waters of the Lake Pichola and the Fateh Sagar Lake. Also you can gaze with eyes wide open at the mustard hills in the backdrop that guard the palatial splendors that cast their soft shadows on the lucid waters of the remarkable Udaipur lakes. Udaipur was definitely the highlight of our trip to India. It was the smallest city we visited in the country, but definitely our favourite. Udaipur is set on the Pichola Lake. Two palaces, Jagniwas Palace and the Lake Palace are built on islands on the lake. Surrounding the lake, numerous other palaces have been built, and in the distance, the Monsoon Palace is perched above the city. Octopussy, the Bond movie, was mainly set in this city, and if you need proof, numerous bars around town show the movie every night at 7pm sharp.

The Lake Palace Hotel resembles a giant wedding cake and it’s used as the ultimate wedding venue for the very rich. Several nights during our stay there were weddings at the venue with amazing fireworks displays to add to the amazing scenery.

You Can hire any Royal Enfield motorcycle and visited the Monsoon Palace and Ubeshwarji, a Shiva shrine, in the hills high above the city. The Monsoon Palace is definitely pretty from far, but far from pretty – it’s derelict, but the views are excellent, and riding out into the countryside and up the pass to visit Ubeshwarji was definitely a highlight of the trip. You Can also explored some hills and villages surrounding the city on horse, which made a great day out and highly recommend...

Lake Palace

It was built in 1743- 1646 under the rule of the Maharana Jagat Singh II of Udaipur, Rajasthan is the most royal place of India and was originally known as Jagniwas or Jan Niwas. The palace was constructed facing east, allowing its people to view the beautiful scene of sunrise & sunset. We can take a glimpse of mountains all around & other parts of Udaipur from the window of the palace. As it is in middle of the lake, so the temperature & atmosphere of the palace is very pleasant. Architecture of palace of royal durbar with courtyards, gardens, fountains etc.

Udaipur could possibly be the most romantic city in India. It's an enchanting place full of old mansions, beautiful gardens, intricate temples, and grand palaces overlooking expansive shimmering lakes. The City Palace, which stretches along the eastern shore of Lake Pichola, leaves visitors spellbound. The way it's been constructed is exquisite, with Rajput military architecture and Mughal style decorative techniques both combined together. For an added touch of romance, there are captivating views of the lake and city below from its many balconies, courtyards, and towers.

Where to Stay

Since Udaipur is a city of palaces, it's only natural that you'd want to stay in one! Not only is this possible but there are many options on offer. You'll find a wide range of authentic palace hotels in Udaipur to suit every taste and requirement. If money isn't a concern, the best choice for a romantic stay would have to be the Taj Lake Palace. Often referred to as one of the world's most romantic hotels, it's a magical 250 year old white marble and mosaic summer palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola. It seems to miraculously float on the lake, but is actually built on a natural foundation of four acres of rock. As if this doesn't make the hotel special enough, the level of service there is quite like no other. With a 350 employees for 83 rooms, the staff-to-guest ratio is particularly high. Each room even has its own butler! A real treat is the royal spa boat, which will take you on a romantic escapade while you soak in the hot tub with a glass of fine wine or champagne.
